Device research at the German Heart Centre Munich
In line with the clinical orientation, our research projects cover the entire field of cardiac device therapy (including pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronisation systems and implantable loop recorders). The projects aim to improve patient care and include pre-operative patient selection, the surgical procedure, device programming and patient follow-up. Furthermore, the working group continuously leads or supports national and international studies in the field of devices. We are always looking for scientists who are interested in devices. You are welcome to apply with your CV to Prof. Christof Kolb at kolb@dhm.mhn.de.
We would like to thank the German Heart Foundation, the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology and the Karl and Lore Klein Foundation for their financial support and recognition of our work, in addition to our industrial partners.
