Benefits

The regular average working time per week for employees in nursing and functional services is 38.5 hours, with the working time distributed over a five-day week.

 

Your holiday entitlement is 30 days per year. By participating in shift work and rotating shifts, you can also obtain up to 8 additional days of leave .

Uniforms are provided and cleaned by the German Heart Centre.

The day care centre “Kita Herzerl München” offers your children aged 1 to 6 years professional care. Childcare places are provided for the German Heart Centre Munich and these are available for educational care between 07:00 and 17:00. The institution is run by the Studentenwerk organisation.

Our in-house hospital pharmacy offers you the opportunity to purchase medicines at discounted prices.

Our Casino shop is available to all employees seven days a week with several menus or a well-stocked salad bar from 11.30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on weekends and public holidays.

Discounted attractive housing options are available in the immediate vicinity of the German Heart Centre from the day you are hired. After the probationary period, you have the possibility to apply for a state employee housing.
