Current visiting arrangements

Dear patients
Dear relatives and visitors,

We know how important visits are for the well-being and recovery of patients, even in Corona times. However, in view of the continuing high numbers of infections, we urge you to observe a few rules during your visit:

Visits are now allowed once a day by one person. Visits are possible between 12 noon and 4 pm. Please note that there may be individual visiting hours for the various wards.

Please note:

All visitors must present a rapid antigen test or PCR test to enter the clinic, regardless of vaccination or convalescent status. A negative PCR test must not be older than 48 hours, a certified rapid antigen test not older than 24 hours.

Visitors and parents can still get tested free of charge at the test centers for their visit to the clinic, they just need to fill in a self-disclosure form – you can find the form here:

The mask requirement (medical mouth-nose protection) applies throughout the clinic, including in the patient room.

There is a separate regulation for parents or accompanying persons of children and adolescents in pediatric cardiology.

Patients in the outpatient clinic

We ask all outpatients and their accompanying persons or parents to bring a daily updated antigen test if possible (not mandatory). Accompanying persons are only permitted by prior arrangement and registration at the respective outpatient clinic of the German Heart Centre Munich and in exceptional cases – e.g. for minors or patients under legal guardianship.

Patients who are scheduled for an outpatient CT /MRI or cardiac catheter examination under sedation or TEE examination require a certified rapid antigen test (not older than 24 hours).

Please be prepared for possible waiting times at the entrance. Thank you for your understanding!

We kindly ask all persons (approved escorts/visitors, applicants as well as service providers and tradesmen) who wish to come to the Heart Center to register in advance via our digital system at
